Parabolik tirqishli tizimlar fokus chizig'ida joylashgan qabul qiluvchi trubkaga quyosh nurnarini jamlash uchun uzun, egri aynalardan foydalanadi. Trubkaning ichidagi issiqlik uzatish suyuqligi (masalan, issiqlik moyi) yuqori haroratgacha (150°C - 400°C) isiydi. Bu isigan suyuqlik so'ngra sanoat jarayonlari uchun issiqlik energiyasini ta'minlash uchun bevosita yoki issiqlik almashinuvi orqali ishlatiladi. Ushbu texnologiya quyidagi sohalarda jarayon issiqligini ta'minlaydi: Oziq-ovqat va ichimliklar: pasteurizatsiya, sterilizatsiya va quritish; Matolar: bo'yoq, bəlaytish va matoni quritish; Kimyoviy moddalar: distillyatsiya, bug'lanish va oldindan isitish; Kon va minerallar: rudani qayta ishlash va lixivatsiya; Qog'oz va massа: massani qayta ishlash va quritish uchun bug' hosil qilish.
